FILE FORMATS If you are providing us with artwork, please send files in the following formats:
- EPS or AI in CMYK color mode, 100% in size with crop marks & fold marks (convert all fonts to outlines/curves)
- TIF in CMYK color mode, 300 dpi, 100% in size with crop marks & fold marks
- PDF in Press Ready format, 100% in sizewith crop marks & fold marks
NOTE: Some delays in the project may occur if submitting files in formats other than EPS or TIF. If you are using photos in your design, please save the final version in TIF as Illustrator does not handle photos well. PDF’s do not always print accurately but you will receive proofs for reviewing your artwork before we start production.
If the files are too large to email, send us the files on our secure server at send-us-files or use a service such as WeTransfer.com.
EPS files should have fonts converted to curves/outlines.
TIF files should not have fonts smaller than 8pt. text.
A minimum bleed of 0.25″ on all sides is suggested for all artwork (0.5” for the box which should be one flat image for the box top and one separate flat image for the box bottom). Keep all important information within the artwork at least 0.125″ in from the edge of the artwork. Any changes after the approval may require an additional cost.
For Manufacturing: Separate files/pages per card, with crop marks outside the live area. We will create an electronic proof (emailed) for every item for your review and approval. Once approvals are completed the manufacturing process will begin. Please let me know your feedback and any additional questions that you may have and/or if you would like to proceed with the contract.
For Prototypes: Cards on Letter sized pages (11”x8.5”), fitting as many as possible on the page (no spaces between cards), with crop marks outside the live area (I.E., 8 up for 3.5”x2.5” size, or 10 up for 3.5”x2” size, etc.) We will create an electronic proof (emailed) for every item for your review and approval. Once approvals are completed the printing and assembly process will begin. Files for Manufacturing will require different specifications.
If you have a Custom-opoly game and do not know how to setup the files, you can purchase our templates on our website using the following link: MONOPOLY TEMPLATES
Note: We will provide the templates free with the manufacturing deposit. If we create a template for your manufacturing project for a fee, we will provide a full credit with the manufacturing deposit.
